The ‘superiority of thought’ tone is a tone that is not conducive to intellectual discourse. I do not tolerate it, as such do not continue with conversations that embed such tones.

It eminently is hubris for a person to not engage in discussion, but merely assert superiority of his or her opinion.

I am comfortable with my opinions on the matter under discussion, and as is evident, did not at any time in my post, or in my initial response assume a dismissive tone to an alternate opinion.

Absent any devolution into ‘my thinking is superior to yours’, mature people are able to engage in discussions on matters with respect to which they disagree.

I value my maturity.
