The Manifold Wisdom of God

Typically, I do not commence a post with Scripture. Given my posts always are structured as, reasonings with readers, as opposed to a ‘hitting over the head with dogma’, prior to presentation of Scripture, I seek to engage the reader with reasoning on subject matter of my post. Subject matter of this post, however, is embedded in a Scripture, hence, necessity of commencement with Scripture. The Scripture in question is found in Ephesians 3:10–11 (words in brackets supplied in spirit of an amplified reading of Christian Scriptures).

That there might be made known now to the principalities and the authorities in the heavenly places, through the assembly (the body of Christ, equivalently, the spiritual ‘house’ made up of all who truly believe in the name of the Lord Jesus), the manifold wisdom of God (the many-sided wisdom of God), according to a purpose of the ages, which He made in Christ Jesus our Lord (time exists for achievement of purposes only because our Lord Jesus Christ was, is, and is to come) — Young’s Literal Translation (YLT) of the Bible.

The Scripture rendered above asserts every one who believes in the name of Jesus is called to demonstrate the manifold — many-sided — wisdom of God, not principally to man, but to principalities and authorities in heavenly places, that is, to spirit beings.
