The essence of Christianity is the love and compassion of which you speak, love and compassion that increasingly is seen as weakness in American society, the preserve of those who have lost competitive edge in race for wealth, fame, notoriety etc.

We have lost sight of the fact that there is a tranquility, peace, and serenity which makes for progress and emotional well being that is borne out of people doing what is right, borne out of people treating each other right.

What I am motivating is defense of Christian values, not insisting everyone become Christian. The defense of Christian values can once again make America great.

And by the way, capitalism understood as “protection of rights of innovators to reaping of benefits of innovation” is consistent with defense of Christian values.
