Thanks for taking the time to pen a response. In my view, differences do not only incorporate biases, they also incorporate values that have normative desirability. This is exactly how the last six of Christian Ten Commandments became part of worldwide civil law — their desirability for facilitation of harmonious coexistence of people from every walk of life.

I believe continued search for values initially specific to a group of people or cadre of spirituality that have desirability for translation into secular values for secular society is a worthwhile endeavor.

Clearly, as is the case with civil law, any proffered values must have the property that they can be presented both orally and in writing to other members of society for discussion.
