In a world that is built around factions, people are more likely to attempt to put down those who are different, than lift them up.

The calling of disciples of Christ is to loving of those who are different, and those who are strangers. Sadly, most Christians, having not themselves understood and acquired God’s capacity for love, not because most are hypocrites, but because no one around them any longer experiences the reality, with outcome practical spiritual reality of Faith in Jesus Christ is lost, find themselves resorting to faction behavior in interactions with people who are not Christian.

When the practical spiritual reality of beliefs is lost, believers are more likely to become defensive in interactions with those who are different.

But validity of Christian principles do not rest on either of non-authenticity, or absence of understanding of how exactly to acquire capacity for true love in persons who claim to be Christian, rather rests on veracity of person, claims, and teachings of Jesus Christ.
