I realized the importance of interpreting “I love you" towards the end of my first marriage. A woman whose “I love you” really means “I admire you” or “you inspire me” will find it difficult to love her spouse. Why? These versions of “I love you” cannot survive tough times and the finding out of a husband’s imperfections. Glad to see a woman flesh this out in an article. Short, concise, and to the point.
