I believe in oneness of man, and oneness of God. I also believe that everyone has a right to determine what is true enough for attraction of their faith.
I do not believe in religion. Christianity did not become a religion until it became official religion of Rome. The problems that subsequently occurred are indicators of superiority of basing of secular laws on Christian beliefs say, and running of a secular government, such that while there is a foundational system of beliefs, there does not exist any official religion. Religion makes money important, such that money becomes a competing rationale for people’s spirituality. As always has been the case, money corrupts spirituality, renders the religion a rote.
But facts are facts. By Christian beliefs the Father always is invincible, immortal such that Jesus Christ is the only visible manifestation of the Father. We can see the Father’s glory, but whenever the Father is visible, we see Jesus Christ.
Naturally, you can disagree with statements in the Bible that Jesus is the only visible manifestation of God The Father. I personally am unable to disagree because for me, disagreeing with uniqueness of Jesus Christ eats at credibility of person and claims of Jesus Christ.
Consider that post resurrection, even Christians are not able to see the resurrected Jesus Christ (1Timothy 6:15–16, we are unable to see the resurrected Jesus Christ with our naked eyes; 1John 3:1–3, we do not know what the resurrected Jesus Christ looks like). While the Book of Revelation describes the person of Jesus Christ, the Apostle John states clearly he was in vision, as such did not see Jesus with naked eyes.
Personally, while I believe in the principle of Love — as is evident in my writings — I am unable to reconcile the person of Baha’u’llah with the person and teachings of Jesus Christ and His apostles.
But mankind does not have to fully agree in order to work together. What we have in common — belief in overarching principle of love for all men, with morality the only thing judged between men — is enough for building of a good society.
