I am with Nature of the Beat on this one.

If two women point to the same person as responsible for a rape, but one woman remembers two men at the scene while one only remembers seeing the rapist this clearly cannot be characterized as a contradiction.

You would have to do much better than this to discredit the Bible. Moreover just because the gospels were not written until Paul began writing cannot be construed as evidence of lies. Once Paul began writing the Apostles realized importance of preserving the gospel in writing. Time lag in of itself is not a discredit. Lastly I can write the same article in many different styles and with focus on different things as function of my audience. This is not a weakness. It can only be characterized as a strength. Consistency of all four accounts is strength not weakness.

I am not challenging you to come up with contradictions. I merely am saying the particular one in this write up does not qualify.

I will leave the Mormon stuff to Nature of the Beat.

Educator and Researcher, Believer in Spirituality, Life is serious business, but we all are pilgrims so I write about important stuff with empathy and ethos
