Fierceness, Gentleness, Wisdom II

--

Whenever faces ere are fierce

Tis because trust is gone

Whenever faces ere are gentle

Tis because people still believe

Your own face do you form

Or that of your neighbor you borrow

Better not gentleness of face that is yours,

Than fierceness borrowed of your neighbor?

Gentleness is life to the spirit

Fierceness rots the bones

Why pondered the little sparrow?

Oh, do you not know whispered the lark

Reasoning, wisdom on gentleness thrive
