‘Fear Not’ and ‘Trust in God’ Translate as, ‘Eschew Evil and Do Good’

I am fully vaccinated, not because I do not believe that, “by the bruises of Christ I have healing (Isaiah 53:5),” but rather on premise of application of the Love Principle evinced in, “Love your neighbor as I, your Lord and Savior have loved you (John 13:34).”

Using the Love Principle, if my neighbor getting vaccinated makes it possible for society to attempt to resume normalcy of human activities, but I then choose not to be vaccinated, yet desire a return to same normalcy, I make myself a hypocrite and do not obey the command of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

If you and I as believers in Jesus Christ desire return to normalcy of activities of human existence, and if we believe absent the vaccine the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ protects us against the COVID-19 virus, we also need believe that, with taking of the vaccine premised on our love for our neighbor, the same grace keeps us in good health, protects us from any adverse effects of the vaccine, and keeps us free of COVID-19. In essence, if we consider taking of the vaccine, the ‘placebo effect’, that is, the action which, in reality does nothing to alter our safety from the virus, but yet the action that restores normalcy of human activity, we get the best of both worlds — our already existent protection in Christ and resumption of…
