Check out this article on how not to expect doing the right thing, which must be based on trust, will be rewarded with right outcomes. There is a lot of this sentiment around nowadays. Call it pessimism, realism, or whatever else one wants to call it, the fact is people increasingly are losing faith in the trust you advocate. I dare say one cannot say there is not a modicum of reason for the pessimism. Giving in to pessimism, however, of course makes things worse all around not better.

In light of your background in a profession where trust must exist just to stay alive, I can understand why you would say you are not aware of such sentiments. I’d say now, however, look around you. This just might be your new interesting.
