Call it pessimism, realism, or whatever else one wants to call it, the fact is people increasingly are losing faith in the trust you advocate. I dare say one cannot say there is not a modicum of reason for the pessimism. Giving in to pessimism, however, of course makes things worse all around not better.
In light of your background in a profession where trust must exist just to stay alive, I can understand why you would say you are not aware of such sentiments. I’d say now, however, look around you. This just might be your new interesting.
