Advice never is given as an insistence, but as an opinion. An advice can be dismissed, refused, or resented. The giver of an advice cannot be dismissed.

The giver of an advice does not recommend himself or herself, only the advice.

I have been married, have four teenage children, been there done that already. I did not ask the author for a date, and did not indicate any such interest, nor do I plan on any such advance anytime in the future. I have been on Medium and have been one of the most prolific authors on the platform for about a year.

I never have propositioned a lady on the platform ever. The advice was platonic, not any indication of romantic fervor.

Any statements about being dismissed reveal an arrogance of desirability not backed up by any facts whatsoever. I mean, I do not even live close to New York, or anywhere close to Vermont.

Who exactly seeks out long distance dates on an intellectual platform in today’s complex world?

Educator and Researcher, Believer in Spirituality, Life is serious business, but we all are pilgrims so I write about important stuff with empathy and ethos
